Growing up, we were not a family that decorated much for Christmas. One year I decided to change that and put together a display for my parents. The reaction from the neighborhood was enough to convince me to start doing this for other families too.
Christmas lights take a lot of us back to childhood. I still think about the beautifully lit homes in Orland Park we used to pass on the way to my grandma’s house. Now I get to build that feeling for other people’s homes — sometimes in a Santa suit, on a roof, in the snow.
My goal is simple: make your home feel magical, clean, and professionally done — without you having to touch a ladder.

Do you provide the lights?
Yes. Pure Magic Holiday Lighting provides commercial-grade lights that cannot be found at a big box store as part of its all-inclusive service. We design, install, maintain, and remove the lights after the season.
Do you install roofline Christmas lights?
Yes. We install custom-cut roofline Christmas lights for homes, including gutters, gables, dormers, hips, and ridges depending on the property.
Do you wrap trees and bushes?
Yes. Tree and bush lighting is one of the main details that makes a display feel premium. We install tree wraps, evergreen wraps, shrub lighting, and feature tree lighting in the color and style that fits the property best.
Is maintenance included?
Yes. If something goes out or needs attention during the season, we handle unlimited maintenance visits so your display stays bright.
When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?
Installations start in September, and it is highly recommended to book early because the schedule fills up fast. We can install early and leave the timer off so the lights are ready to go whenever you want them turned on.
Can I change bulb colors each year?
Yes. Bulb color changes with each new season are complimentary. Multicolor, candy cane, cool white, and other color options are possible in addition to classic warm white.
Do I need to be home for the installation?
No. As long as we have access to an exterior outlet, you do not need to be home for the installation. We do ask that vehicles be moved from the property to ensure safe access for our team and equipment.
When do you remove the lights?
Removal is handled after the holiday season. Timing depends on weather, schedule, and the property, but removal is included as part of the service.
